I have taught a course on Revelation in church after spending a year studying it with my Phd. friend who also went to Bible school. Most of Revelation is literal except where it clearly says it's not.

I had gone through the WT Rev. book 3 times in the 80's and early 90's. So, I can really compare the two models - literal vs. symbolic. I can say unreservedly that what the WT printed on Revelation is the most outlandish, disconjointed pile of horse manure I've ever seen.... and I've seen a lot.

Mother died from no blood transfusion being allowed. My JW father and JW elder brothers let her starve to death in a hospice instead of allowing a relatively simple operation on her kinked small intestines. She died a slow painful death.
I have over a hundred JW relatives. I found out about her passing on the internet 2 weeks after her death. No one even called me. We were very close before I became a believer. I know of no other blood relative who was a JW and is now free of Watchtower besides my nephew (my so-called "anointed" oldest brother's son). My nephew got baptized about 2 years ago. His children are over 18 and no longer permitted to see him.
The fake Jewish impostors leading the Watchtower will worship Jesus at the feet of many of those they have abused in this life. Russell, Franz, Rutherford, etc.... all of them with this particular fake Jewish delusion. My feet will be among those they see as they (too late) worship the Lord..... not because I don't deserve hell every bit as much as they do. But, because the Lord has ordained it.
This is what victory looks like for Christian overcomers of Witchtower indoctrination. .

Though I do not wish damnation on anyone, I know that I will be present when these men are humiliated. I will be standing with the Lord. They will not be.
